The post mortems on this election are beginning. Two topics are of particular interest: the NDP wave in Quebec (and, one should add, Atlantic Canada) and Liberal decline.
Too much of the blame for Liberal decline is attributed to Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff but he deserves some of it. The roots of Liberal decline are long-term and complex.
