The George Bush Philosopy of Government

I can't recommend highly enough this article "Interest-Group Conservatism: George Bush's Philosophy of Government" by Jacob Weisberg in Slate, which was passed on to me. He compares the gilded age governance of the Bushites with the "interest-group liberalism" so eloquently critiqued by political scientist Theodore Lowi in the The End of Liberalism. A fascinating commentary and apt comparison.
